History Of Bhavan's

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was established in 1938, when India was rediscovering herself politically, socially and culturally. The Bhavan aims to preserve and perpetuate eternal Indian values through its conglomerate of more than 117 educational and cultural institutions in India and abroad.The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Sainikpuri Kendra is a sprawling campus spread over 41 acres.

Bhavan’s Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya, Bhavan’s Sri Aurobindo Junior College, Bhavan’s Vivekananda Degree College, Sarada Devi Hospital function under the aegis of Bhavan’s Sainikpuri Kendra.

The Bhavan’s Sri Aurobindo Junior College was established in 1997 with a strength of 117 students. From a humble beginning to an institution of reckoning with more than 1500 students it has carved a niche for itself as one of the premier institutions of the twin cities.
